For all my lovely readers!

First I would like to  take a moment of gratitude!  I am thankful for YOU.  Each and every one of you are special in your own way and I am thankful that you support my blog, enter my giveaways, read my randomness and reviews.  You guys ROCK, and I am thankful for you.

I am also very thankful for my husband who is working today as an officer.  He is making the world a safer place on a Holiday so everyone else can enjoy their families, fellowship and football games in peace.  I love him dearly and am so thankful he makes my life safe.  I am thankful for my 2 year old Mika!  He is my wonderful surprise in life.  I can say he is the absolute best surprise I could have ever been given.  He laughs all the time, is my little cuddle bunny and tells me 10+ times a day "wuv u too mama" (he says love you too even if he says it first :).  He's amazing and I love him.

I am thankful for my darling daughter Suzannah who is my tough girl.  She's very matter of fact, not much ruffles her feathers, she is brilliant, loves to read, help me cook, writes me love letters in perfect cursive which she taught herself (they haven't learned it in school yet) and she just brightens my day with her endless chatter that is always about facts.  My smarts are challenged daily to answer her questions and I am so very thankful for her.

I am thankful for my Tara Grace, my 7 year old daughter.  She is beautiful, loving, my little girly girl princess.  She too loves to cuddle, loves to do nails, has a heart of gold, will do anything you ask of her and just brings a loving spirit into our home!  It's by God's Grace she is here do to a surgery gone awry and Mrcr while I was pregnant with her, and I am thankful to have her.

Lastly, I am thankful for my firstborn, Donovan Maxwell-we call him Max.  He is Mighty, Masterful, Type A and no one can tell him he won't do it in life.  I LOVE that about him.  No isn't an option.  If a door closes, that's okay, a window will open.  If a window doesn't open, we take out a saw and cut one into the wall.  He is mister personality, loves being with his mama while I cook, we talk, he does a man's share of work helping move and stack the wood, cuts me kindling (only supervised, but he always begs to help mama do it), would give someone he doesn't know the shirt of his back if they needed it and is just my bright shining light.  He has been ill the last two weeks and spent 15 hours yesterday between the doctor's office and hospital and as a mom it is hard to see him struggle, but like the super trouper he is, he is fighting hard to get feeling better.  I am so very thankful he is well enough to travel and spend time with family for the Holiday and am reminded anew after yesterday's scare how thankful I am for him!

And Now ...DRUM ROLL.......A very deep poem-author unknown, but just what we need to conclude today's Thankfulness!

Ode to Thanksgiving

May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Have nary a lump.
May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize,
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your thighs!
