I would like to share a company today with you that has unique and I must admit, quite tasty products!  I received a package in the mail from a company called Cakedy Minnesota's Candy Bar which contained two of their candy bars.

Cakedy combines the moist soft yumminess of cake with the thick decadent chocolate candy shell of a candy bar, thus name Cakedy!  There are three flavors of Cakedy:  Peanutter, RedHead, and Choco Chocatus, and I received the Peanutter and the Choco Chocatus to try.

The Peanutter has a peanut nougat in the middle with butterscotch chips and covered in a thick chocolate shell.

I have to admit I was in cake/candy heaven with this.  The center is WAY moister than the average cake, yet has all the great texture of cake.  The interesting part is that it had the same candy shell as any candy bar so it is really decadent, and it just melts in my mouth!  I felt guilty eating it, then wanted more!!

The Choco Chocatus is also very tasty, with chocolate cake nougat mixed with chocolate mint chips and of course has the chocolate candy bar shell.  This one is super rich and definitely not for the faint at heart so it is perfect for all chocolate lovers!

My favorite by far was the Peanutter but this candy/cake is like nothing I have eaten before and really good.  At $4.99 for three they are slightly more expensive than a regular candy bar, but if you are looking for an occasional, or even a daily treat, Cakedy is worth the extra in my opinion.  You can find out more about Cakedy, Minnesota's Candy Bar on their website as well as connect with them socially on Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube.

Morganna's Alchemy is a Great Way to Moisturize

 I am just a girlie girl and beauty products and creams just make my heart sing a little tune, especially at the young age of 36 when I see these wonderful "laugh lines" as my Mama calls them around my eyes!  Today, I am thrilled to share with you a company that I have had the pleasure of trying some beauty creams from.

Per the website:  "Morganna's Alchemy is a line of luxury phyto-dermo comseuceutical products.  The line was created by Chemist Maya Hyppolite Willams (M.A), who has had over fifteen years of experience in the Research and development area.  Maya has worked with the biggest companies in America and in Europe."

Morganna's Alchemy products are formulated so that the user sees the most results in the least amount of time possible, and they are formulated for many different ethnic skins as well so almost anyone can use them!  What I like the most about the company is they support the "Ripple Effect" which protects the environment so they meet my "greener" standard I have been holding to this year!

Morganna's Potion is a nice medium thick cream that is made specifically to hydrated and regenerate skin cells.  It has a nice scent to it, slightly perfume-y and it does a really great job moisturizing my skin.  After just a few days of using it, I can see a difference in the trouble areas on my face like my eyes and between my eyebrows.

Morganna's Rx for Spots is a skin brightening cream that is to be used twice a day to brighten the skin and is about the same consistency of your average hair conditioner in my opinion.

  It too has a wonderful aroma to it, and is really easy to apply to my face and neck area in the morning and before bed time.  It has a powerful antioxidant in it that is designed to lighten skin and make us look youthful!

Lastly, I tried the Morganna's Elixer Plus which is a really thick cream!

This cream is for providing a collagen boost and fading deep expression lines.  It is a really great night cream since it is so thick and of course, like all the other creams has a wonderful smell to it!

Great smelling thick Body Butter by AromafloriA

I was blessed a week or two ago to receive a package in the mail from Aromafloria with a container of Honey Papaya Whipped Butter with Shea and Aloe in it.  Of course, the girl in me was THRILLED, because there are certain things that just thrill me as a woman and great body products are one of them!

AromafloriA is a 100% "wind powered Green-E Certified" company who provides natural eco-friendly products!

They were founded in 1985 and are one of the "modern pioneers" of holistic aromatherapy.  They also use Certified Organic ingredients in their products, and the bottom line is they love helping people find the balance and well being!

   I would say that really like this lotion, but it really is too thick to call a lotion:  it is a true body butter so I have to say I really like this body butter!  It has an awesome papaya smell that reminds me of the tropics and is just thick and decadent.  I absolutely love putting it on my body after a long hot bath in the evenings.  I go to bed smelling fresh and my body loves the moisture from the butter!

Tasty Tuesday & Just Buns Specialty Bakery Review!

Although I have been on a mission this year to really overhaul our lives including diet, there are just times that some good old fashioned great food is in order.  I know personally it is easier to stay on a healthy lifestyle if I allow for something really great once every week or two!

Today I have a great company Just Buns Specialty Bakery to share with you.  Just Buns Specialty Bakery began with a family recipe that the mother of the family used to make in Texas growing up.  Fast forward years later and the now grown children expanded them from being filled with just cheese and ham to various pantry items such as chocolate chips.  Fast forward again, and now the family is in New York, and since many people always encouraged them to start a business, they did and the result is phenomenal!

Just Buns Specialty Bakery offers a wide variety of buns offering flavors such as:  Chocolate, Almond, Chocolate Raspberry,Cinnamon, Cranberry Walnut, and many other flavors.  I received a package in the mail which incuded the Chocolate, Almond, Cinnamon, and Chocolate Raspberry.

As you can imagine,  I didn't have to twist anyone's arm to try these scrumptious looking buns!  As a matter of fact, once they saw them, the children were immediately banding together to beg me to eat them right then; however, as a good mom of course I told them we had to eat supper first.  The directions are simple:  place each bun in the microwave for 10-15 seconds to heat and serve.

The end result is that these buns are as good as they sound and look.  I was impressed the most because they weren't too sweet.  They are definitely sweet enough to classify as a dessert, but not "sickly" sweet like a lot of buns are.  I thought these had just the right balance, and as you can see for yourself, the kids loved them!

What if I am not in the NY area you as?  No problem, you can order their buns right online.  They sell packages of 12 buns for $22 and they have a variety of flavors and selections to order from.  Additionally they also offer catering and large orders for any occasion such as birthday parties, weddings, office luncheons, and parties!

Easy to Apply Wall Art by Leo Wall Stickers

I will be the first to admit that I the least artsy person you will ever know!  I played classical piano from the the age of 5 until I was 30, and I think that is all the art I have in me.  So you can imagine that I am always looking for creative ways to decorate my home.  Add to the mix the fact that I rent rather than own the home I am in now, so all of my artistic adventures must be semi-permanent and movable.

I am delighted to share with you the Leo Wall Stickers company today.  Leo Wall Stickers is a comprised of a group of artists who create artistic figures and murals specifically created for children.  However, just as the name of the company indicates, they are stickers which cling to the wall rather than painted.  They are perfect for anyone:  someone who likes to change their decorating theme frequently, renters who cannot make significant changes to where they live, or anyone looking to brighten a room, but not wanting to make drastic changes.

I was able to try out the Forest package, and I have to tell you, this company has the most talented children's artists!  Our package came with a hedgehog, an owl, a mother bird and her nest of babies, flowers, and a mushroom.

These are super easy to use, and I would recommend them to anyone!  Basically the art comes between two pieces of paper, one with adhesive.  You simply peel off the paper with the adhesive, place the adhesive side of the sticker on the wall, and use this plastic scraping tool over the sticker to make sure it clings to the wall.  Gently and slowly pull off the other paper and viola! Wall stickers!

Leo Wall Stickers offers everything from fantasy, adventure, nature to cuddly and fun stickers.  I love that the stickers are affordable, so as my son grows up, I can literally change the theme in his room every year or two if I want to!  You can check them out for yourself and even purchase a product if you choose to right on the Leo Wall Stickers website.  However, I think this smiley face below speaks volumes about how much we love the Leo Wall Stickers company!
