Can you guess where I am?  That's right, the beach.  Well, technically the kids and I are visiting family near Savannah, so we are taking the opportunity to enjoy the beach while we are here.   I will be be promoting my reviews/giveaways this week, but I may not blog as frequently as I typically do.  Never fear, I haven't forgotten you, and I will show you some awesome pics next week!

Update 8/1/2012:


We had a blast!  We went to Tybee Beach and enjoyed playing in the ocean and the sand.  Unfortunately, even with 100 SPF, we were unable to stay more than 3 hours because my fair skinned darlings were frying, and had to get out of the sun.  Thankfully, we have prescription burn cream for these times, so all was well. 


We also enjoyed time at the aquarium looking at the different crabs, starfish, an awesome octopus, a lobster and many more things. Most of all, we enjoyed the pool at Auntie's house and just had a blast relaxing!  How about you, what did you do for the 4th?

Nature Box-Monthly Service Box with Full Sized Products!

Nature Box is a monthly subscription company that offers fun, healthy snacks to the USA and FPO/APO addresses.  The boxes contain products that are wholesome, approved by a nutritionist, and adhere to very strict standards.  They have no high fructose corn syrup, no partially hydrogenated oils, No trans fats, no artificial sweeteners, and no artificial colors.

I was blessed to receive a June Nature Box to try, and I was very pleased.  My box contained Sun-Ripened Peaches, Harvest Fruit Granola, Citrus Kick Almonds, Apple Rings, and Organic Mighty Mix
.

Peaches are one of my favorite fruits, and I hold them to a very high standard.  These peaches are so good.  They are dried, but still full of flavor, have a nice bite to them-not all dried out, and just so good. I am using some of them to make granola, and the kids love it.

The Apple Rings are so soft, that it made me want to eat the whole bag, although I refrained.  They are so good as is, and will be equally good in some oatmeal for breakfast!

The Organic Mighty Mix is a nice trail mix full of nuts, seeds, and fruit.  It is very healthy for the body, and a great snack to enjoy anytime.  My kids really loved it and have been asking for more!  The Citrus Kick Nuts were unique to me.  I thought they would be a citrus flavor, but they had a lot of spice, I presume ginger on them.  They are quite savory, and while they are good, they weren't the fruit flavor I was expecting!

My absolute favorite of all was the Harvest Fruit Granola which was just choc full of soft yummy goodness. I loved all the coconut in it, and just wish I could find this specific product in the store all the time because I would be buying it all the time!  I will gladly recommend this service to anyone asking because it is a mere $19.95 a month for a box full of healthy snacks.  My kids love getting anything in the mail, and they seemed to forget they were noshing on something healthy because they were so excited.
